Top Restaurants in Chandler, AZ

Tokyo House
Yelp.com rated the Tokyo House as the best restaurant in all of Chandler. This Japanese eatery is found on North Alma School Road. The interior is clean and simple. The same man, Fu, always seems to be working the counter and he is always ready to greet customers with a smile and true feeling of warmth. As diners enter, it is immediately obvious that Tokyo House has a loyal and substantial local following. Unlike so many Asian carry out places, the fare at Tokyo House isn’t greasy; instead it is perfectly cooked, fresh and seasoned with an expert touch. A few of the standout menu items include the orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, house fried rice, and the house chicken, which is spicy and chocked full of perfectly textured mushrooms.

When you visit many hotels, restaurants, and diners, you will find that they have custom dinnerware that has their name and the logo of the restaurant printed on it. Such dinnerware always adds a special touch to the restaurant’s atmosphere thus making the restaurant look even more competitive. When diners come to the restaurant, the impression that is left on their minds is that of professionalism and this positively influences their choice of where to go the next time they want to eat.

You can dance every Friday at The Presbyterian Church Hall Uptown from 8 until midnight, and on the fourth Sunday of every month from 6 to 10 pm at the restaurant Galvez, on North Peters Street.

A Winnipeg Deli

Winnipeg has a number of excellent delis that I predict could hold their own when stacked up against Montreal’s or New York City’s. Many of the cities’ best are in River Heights where I am content to reside, with its glorious elm-lined streets, character homes and lots of quaint shops and restaurants. Bernstein’s Deli has been around for a very long time – Even before I moved to the neighbourhood and that was close to 20 years ago. I suppose this is why a friend of mine was shocked to learn that I had never had a meal at this convenient location, just around the corner from my house. I have shopped at the deli counter and especially enjoyed their homemade frozen soups over the years but it’s hard to believe, given the food lover I am, that I had never sat down to enjoy a good old fashioned deli plate.
